Gene Transfer for Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa
This trial will create a skin graft, which the investigators call "LEAES," using the patient's own skin cells that have been genetically engineered in the lab to express a missing protein called type VII collagen. The corrected cells will be transplanted back to the patient.
Host RNA Expression Profiles and Protein Biomarkers in Neonatal Herpes Simplex Virus Infection
This study seeks to identify and test host RNA expression profiles in context to protein biomarkers in dried blood spot samples as novel diagnostic markers of neonatal herpes simplex virus infection and to improve the understanding of the pathogenesis of the disease.
Immune Responses to Autologous Langerhans-type Dendritic Cells Electroporated With mRNA Encoding a Tumor-associated Antigen in Patients With Malignancy: A Single-arm Phase I Trial in Melanoma
This study is being done to see if the investigators can help the immune system to work against melanoma. A dendritic cell is another type of white blood cell. It has most, if not all, of the proteins needed to make T cells work to destroy cancer cells. However, dendritic cells do not normally have the cancer proteins on their surface. The challenge then is to combine the antigens with dendritic cells to make a vaccine. The investigators think that the body's T cells might then react against the tumor and help destroy it. This study will see if altered dendritic cells will make T cells work against tumor cells. The...
Innovative Approaches to Gauge Progression of Sturge-Weber Syndrome
This study has three aims that hope to expand the knowledge on the cause of Sturge-Weber Syndrome (SWS) and improve clinical care of Sturge-Weber Syndrome patients.
In Vivo Confocal Microscopy of Cutaneous Neoplasms and Normal Skin
The purpose of this study is to investigate new non-invasive imaging techniques for the evaluation of skin lesions, as well as normal skin. Our primary goal is to collect and study these images of different skin lesions along with matching biopsy specimens. The long-term goal is to develop a technique that will improve the early detection of skin cancer and eliminate the need for many skin biopsies. The High-resolution OCT (Apollo Medical Optics) device can provide both cross-sectional and en-face images with cellular information. Real-time color images through the same objective with OCT are also provided to show the OCT imaging...
Iodine I 131 Monoclonal Antibody 3F8 in Treating Patients With Central Nervous System Cancer or Leptomeningeal Cancer
RATIONALE: Radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies, such as iodine I 131 monoclonal antibody 3F8, can find tumor cells and carry tumor-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. This may be an effective treatment for central nervous system cancer or leptomeningeal metastases. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying the side effects and how well iodine I 131 monoclonal antibody 3F8 works in treating patients with central nervous system cancer or leptomeningeal cancer.
Ipilimumab or High-Dose Interferon Alfa-2b in Treating Patients With High-Risk Stage III-IV Melanoma That Has Been Removed by Surgery
This randomized phase III trial studies ipilimumab to see how well it works compared to high-dose interferon alfa-2b in treating patients with high-risk stage III-IV melanoma that has been removed by surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Interferon alfa-2b may interfere with the growth of tumor cells and slow the growth of melanoma and other cancers. It is not yet known whether ipilimumab is more effective than interferon alfa-2b in treating patients with melanoma.
Lipidome and Microbiome Profile of Acne
Lipidome and microbiome analysis in subjects with acne on doxycycline. Investigators will look at the skin lipidome, blood lipidome, gut micro biome and skin micro biome. Investigators will look at the changes between acne subjects and control participants, but also the changes that occur after the use of antibiotics and how this is altered.
Long-term Extension Trial in Subjects With Atopic Dermatitis Who Participated in Previous Tralokinumab Trials - ECZTEND
The purpose of this extension trial is to evaluate the long-term safety of tralokinumab.
Long-term Follow-up for Evaluating the Safety of CS20AT04 in Subject With Lupus Nephritis
This observation study is planned to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the subjects who received CS20AT04 in the phase 1 clinical trial. If the subjects who participated in the phase 1 clinical trial voluntarily agree to participate in this observation study, visit 1 and visit 2 will be conducted every 3 months according to the clinical trial protocol until 6 months after administration of CS20AT04 in the phase 1 clinical trial. And Visit 3 after 6 months, Visit 4~Visit 7 will be conducted every 12 months. During each visit, subjects are assessed for the efficacy and occurrence of adverse events.
