Comprehending Atopic Risk Elements
Skin barrier impairment and familial atopy have been implicated as crucial risk factors for the development of atopic dermatitis (AD). Additional risk factors have been explored, including gestational weight, height, age, familial smoking habits, proximity to urban centers and others. However, a comprehensive study focusing on the entire spectrum of risk factors has yet to be undertaken. Such a study could enable predictive capabilities able to inform medical professionals as to a newborn's inherent risk to develop AD, and potentially recommend appropriate preventative modalities to prevent or delay disease onset.

COVID-19 Booster Vaccine in Autoimmune Disease Non-Responders
This is a randomized, multi-site, adaptive, open-label clinical trial comparing the immune response to different additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine in participants with autoimmune disease requiring IS medications. All study participants will have negative serologic or suboptimal responses (defined as a Roche Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S result ≤200 U/mL) or a low immune response (defined as a Roche Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S result >200 U/ml and ≤2500 U/mL) to their previous doses of COVID-19 vaccine. The study will focus on 5 autoimmune diseases in adults: - Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) - Rheumatoid...

Cutaneous Lupus Medication Experience Study
Cutaneous lupus is a chronic, relapsing, auto-immune skin disease that can have many presentations. Its effect on physical appearance greatly affects patients' quality of life. In addition, 10% of patients with cutaneous lupus will develop systemic lupus. Topical therapies are the mainstay of cutaneous lupus treatment; however patients often find these treatments to be messy, inconvenient, or ineffective. In addition, for more severe disease patients are often placed on concurrent systemic therapies. The primary hypothesis of our study is that poor adherence contributes to poor treatment outcomes in patients with cutaneous lupus.

CYP2D6 Genotypes and Breast Cancer Clinical Outcomes in the Indonesian Population
The utilization of tamoxifen is considerably high in Indonesia, with about 170,000 tamoxifen prescriptions filed in 2015. It is metabolized by the enzyme CYP2D6, resulting in its active metabolite, endoxifen, which has been proven to be effective in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Studies showed the CYP2D6 gene has more than 100 variants; some of which are linked with reduced drug activity, while others do not have any pathological implications. The metabolizer profile of these variants is generally grouped into Ultra-rapid, Normal, Intermediate, and Poor Metabolizers (UM, NM, IM, and PM, respectively). In our...

Dupilumab-pediatric Skin Barrier Function and Lipidomics Study in Patients With Atopic Dermatitis in China
This is a 32-week, open-label, exploratory study with a 4-week screening period, 16-week treatment phase designed to investigate dupilumab's effect on skin barrier function as measured by TEWL before and after STS in approximately 20 pediatric patients with moderate-to-severe AD (not more than 24 patients aged ≥6 and <12 years old), and a 12-week follow-up period. Patients will have 1 on-site visit/week, up to Week 4, 1 on-site visit every 2 weeks from Week 4 to Week 8, and 1 on-site visit every 4 weeks from Week 8 to Week 16 End of Treatment (EoT) phase visit, and every 6-weeks thereafter during the follow-up period and by this will...

Effectivity and Safety of Combination Cream of Salicylic Acid, Aqua Posae Filiformis, Niacinamide, Lipohydroxy Acid, Procerad and Zinc PCA
This clinical study will compare the effectivity and safety of combination cream of Salicylic Acid, Aqua Posae Filiformis, Niacinamide, Lipohydroxy Acid, Procerad, and Zinc PCA as adjuvant therapy for acne vulgaris patients. These combination cream will be tested by mild to moderate acne vulgaris patients. Participants will be female patients aged 15-50 years old and divided into three groups. The control group (Group 1) will use Adapalene 0.1% cream only every night. Group 2 will use Adapalene 0.1% cream intermittently every two nights and the combination cream every morning. Group 3 will use Adapalene 0.1% cream every night and the ...

Effect of Different Materials Used in Orogastric Tube Removal on Skin Condition in Premature Babies
While medical adhesives provide fixation of devices and catheters in neonatal intensive care, problems such as disruption of skin integrity are frequently encountered when removed. The study aims to compare the effectiveness of sunflower oil and silicone-based remover spray used during the removal of medical adhesives used in oragastric catheter fixation in preterm babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in preventing skin damage.
